In French, like in English, you can generally move the time and place complements around. So here you could perfectly well say:
Ce soir, nous allons au théâtre avec eux OR Nous allons au théâtre avec eux ce soir
As you noticed though, for some words like the adverbs déjà or encore, they generally go just after the verb (in the present tense).
