Answer Question
French word order and Fluenz translations
I'm looking at French 2, Session 22, match the phrases at the end of the session---
"We're going this evening to the theater with them"
Can some of these parts of the sentence be moved around, ie" This evening we're going to the theater with them" or" We're going to the theater with them this evening"?
Because if I were in a French speaking situation, one of the 2 alternatives I listed would pop into my mind before the one in the session. Or are you slowly preparing us for the order things go in sentences--for example, some things cannot be listed at the beginning or end of a sentence, or some things have to be close to the verb (as I notice with deja, encore, etc)?
And if I said one of my alternatives would it be comprehensible to a true French speaker?
