I'm glad someone else is trying this! Try out the "Schlager" radio stations while you're working or otherwise tasked. The "1000 Schlager" station plays only German-language songs mostly very clearly enunciated. (Other stations tend to have too much English language music.)

:) I haven't checked this one out yet but was listening to Austrian radio last night - Hitradio O3. anyway, I was sooo excited to listen and then the were playing 1. Alice Cooper, 2. Blink 182, 3. Raggae. I turned it off after that :)

That's the problem I've had with most of the music channels: little German content. "1000 Schlager" or "Tausend Schlager" is highly recommended. "Alpine Schlager" is OK.
I expect by the time I really understand the language, this music will be drivel...but right now it's a great challenge. "Leiben" and "Leibe" seem to be very common words on these channels. I can only listen to so many love songs per day when they're in English.
