Ordering "café con leche" in some Spanish countries is not the same as ordering "coffee" with milk here in the USA. "Café con leche" is a drink and that is how it is ordered, just like water or tea. So to order a large one is the same as ordering any other drink when signifying the size, thus the "grande" would come afterward. I can't speak for any other Spanish speaking countries, but I know this is definitely true in Mexico! :)

I am guessing this is why Fluenz teaches it this way but perhaps the explanation was overlooked?
