In fact, both forms are equally correct. However, in the Fluenz program, we teach the -s ending for masculine and neuter nouns other than those ending in s,ß or z to make it easier for you. Obviously we need to stick to it in the exercises, forgive us this error! We have already corrected it and the change will become available in the next Fluenz German 4 update.
