No argument there that Fluenz is a better learning system than Rosetta Stone. I do like how RS speaks only in the learning language. However, you can get a bit lost in translating. It also doesn't elaborate any on cases, word order, etc. This is where Fluenz steps well above RS. Time is taken to elaborate cases, why words are placed here and there. Repetition, but in a different way than RS. One thing I wish Fluenz would do like RS is the speaking part, I like the voice-recognition section in RS.
I also believe they need to market. I found out about this program through my brother and how he found out about it......I don't know. I'm glad I made the switch to Fluenz and they can be much better (by consumer choice) if advertised better.

This has been my experience as well. Fluenz was the best, and only, program that taught me any language skills. I also suggested on this forum that they invest more seriously in marketing, but found myself the subject of abuse and hate messages from other users, who are insistent that further marketing is not necessary, while ironically complaining that they would rather funds be invested in new languages. (My view was that perhaps increased sales of existing languages would fund future research and development...) Fluenz should be selling more units, absolutely. I've recommended the product to countless friends, of which at least three have purchased copies. But it's a hard sell when they go to the atrocious Fluenz website... and what about those who haven't heard of Fluenz before? How is Flluenz trying to reach them? Really, I don't think they are. Fluenz doesn't need more videos on its YouTube channel -- it needs a marketing strategy aimed at selling the product, not Sonia.

I have used Rosetta Stone and it is no where near as educational as Fluenz. I would hope that they would promote more. Also it would be great to offer a discount to prior users of Fluenz that wish to learn another language.
