I have never understood Fluenz's meaning of this phrase. Google Translate gives the English as "in the pan". I think Fluenz is using the term grill like a lunch counter grill, a flat surface used for frying or sauteing, which basically is the same as frying in a pan. Google Translate gives the French for "on the grill" as "sur le gril."

Thanks for your feedback on this phrase, it is true that "à la poêle" is not exactly "on the grill"; it actually does mean: "something cooked in a frying pan on top of the stove", which is why we've translated it as: "stir-fried" in the most recent version of the program.
