Answer Question
À la poêle ?
Sometimes I wonder if the English translation means what I think it does. Case in point, préparer des légumes à la poêle is translated as "to prepare vegetables on the grill." To me, this suggests that the vegetables are going to be cooked on a grill (probably, although not necessarily, outside). But the context makes it seem more likely that the vegetables are being cooked in a frying pan on top of the stove. How specifically is a dish being cooked when it is prepared à la poêle?
