Answer Question
A big "thank you" to Sonia and team
I've been using Fluenz for about 18 months now, learning Spanish of Latin America. I've finished 4 of the 5 levels. I'm nowhere near fluent yet, or even conversant, but it has been immensely helpful.
My husband and I are thinking of moving to Latin America when we retire. We've been on two trips so far to find our ideal location.
On our last trip, we visited one town where there are many expats. For that reason, I expected many of the locals to know at least a little English. That turned out to not be the case. Our driver spoke no English, our lodging host spoke no English, most of the shopkeepers and restaurant workers spoke no English. And it was no problem! I even had a chat with a random lady I met on the street (she was a gem!).
So THANK YOU for putting together such a profoundly useful program. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I only wish there were more levels!!!
