Level 4 Lesson 22 Dialogue
I'm trying to get the use of 'en' straight in my head. In the dialog for this level, there is the following sentence:
"Claudia a essayé beaucoup de vêtements, mais elle n’a rien acheté"
So why wouldn't 'en' be used here, as in:
"Claudia a essayé beaucoup de vêtements, mais elle n’en a rien acheté"
When she says she didn't buy anything, isn't she referring to the clothes? So don't we need the 'en' to placehold?
