Answer Question
ce n' e vs. ne ci sono
In lesson 9 of Italian 3, ce n' e is introduced (I know there is an accent over "e" but can't do that in Commons). Sometimes it is clear when to use that form, but other times I don't understand why one wouldn't use "ne ci sono". For example: "There's one (of them)." The correct answer (in Flashcards) is ce n' e uno. Why wouldn't ne ci sono be correct? Thanks in advance!
