Answer Question
When to use 'cet' vs. 'ce'
I'm on level 3, session 23. I have a question about 'cet' vs. 'ce.' Earlier, we learned to use 'cet' if the noun its preceding begins with an 'h' or a vowel, right? (e.g. cet hôtel) So, to say "this top," I would expect it to be 'cet haut.' But instead, all the examples use 'ce' (i.e. 'ce haut'). Why is that? Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks,
Brian
