Answer Question
Question regarding placement of timing phrases in German, level one lesson 29
Are phrases such as später, morgen, um sechs uhr, etc always placed as close to the verb as possible? So, where in English it would be I want to go to the airport tomorrow, in German, it's ich möchte morgen zum flughafen gehen. What has me kind of confused is the following sentence from the tutorial in lesson 29 of lesson 1: ich möchte einen tisch für morgen um acht uhr reservieren ( or something like that). Why wouldn't the timing adverbs or phrases come before einen tisch so that it's ich möchte für morgen um acht uhr einen tisch reservieren?
