Answer Question
Can someone quickly explain why it's "einer" and not "eine" in the following sentence...
German 2, Lesson 9...
"Ich habe mit einer Freundin gegessen"
Why is it "einer" and not "eine" ? I've been re-doing a lot of the lessons to ensure I'm following the grammar properly, but I think I missed this somewhere. Why is it in the dative case? Does it have something to do with the word "mit"? If you can let me know which tutorial talked about it, that would be great!
Thanks!
