Answer Question
Spanish speaker speaks so rapidly it's near impossible to understand her
Upgraded Spanish, level 2 session 24. This problem occurs in the workout titled, "Write the phase you hear." Understanding, it's necessary to expose the learner to the various rhythms and cadences of the Spanish language, it is counter productive when the phase is spoken so rapidly it's impossible to hear the words being spoken, even when you know what the words in the phase are. One female speaker in particular, seems to be speaking as rapidly as she can, as though it's a game of challenge between her and the learner. At this level, it's more important the learner acquires the knowledge of how to use the language, rather than be able to understand Spanish speed talkers! I really like Fluenz but this is a big negative for me.
