Flashcard, French 3 Session 6: "Le plat du jour 'c'est' du poulet"?
This concerns the French 3, Session 6 Flashcards: One of the sentences is "Aujourd’hui, le plat du jour c’est du poulet aux légumes, avec du riz."
I don't think I understand why it is " 'c'est' du poulet" and not just "est du poulet". I don't seem to recall any sentences in previous Sessions using that structure.
