Answer Question
Pronunciation of "Le"
I’ve finally got my sails full of air and making progress in learning French.
The reason I’m writing is the pronunciation I’m hearing can be different for the same word in different parts of the course.
Right now in Lesson 4 I’m in the write what you hear section and what I hear is the word “Le” pronounce 2 different ways.
For the phrase The milk – Le lait – the Le sounds like a soft Lu in English.
For the phrase The sugar – Le sucre – the Le sounds like La in English.
Is this how French is spoken or am I missing something.
