Answer Question
Issues in Session 5 of Spanish 3
Here are some observations on this session. In the conversation, "De comer..." is used to say "To eat...". Would it also be acceptable to use "Para comer..."?In the write the phrase you read section, "...only my first day..." uses "...solo mi primer dia..." but in that context I have only ever heard SOLAMENTE used. I know they mean the same thing but is SOLO really the preferred choice? In the match the phrases section, "Claudia es una persona muy dulce, me gusta mucho" is translated literally. My question is can you really call someone DULCE and is me gusta appropriate to say about a person. I know in Spain such a phrase has sexual connotations.
