Answer Question
Verb word order with the passe compose
In french 2 session 5--match the phrase--toward the end on the session:--"we were all in the same hotel"---correct answer is "nous avons tous ete dans le meme hotel"----In Sonia's explanation of the difference between 'y' and 'en' on facebook she said that the passe compose was not separated. So I thought 'tous' would come either before or after the passe compose phrase. Or is 'tous' an exception to the general rule?
This is similar to French 2 session 4 match the words---'I ate a lot'--correct answer j'ai beaucoup mange'---again putting beaucoup in the middle of the passe compose---I thought it would be ' j'ai mange beaucoup'
