Answer Question
Closer and closest
One of the Flashcards has the sentence "Where is the closest airport" trandslated as "Dov' è l' aeroporto più vicino?" According to "Essential Italian Grammar by Olga Ragusa, the construction to indicate closer vs closest requires the use of the definite article in front of più to make the meaning carry the -est ending (closest). So, my question is, how is this requirement/differentiation satisfied in the translation in the flashcards? Does the l' in front of aeroporto suffice in this role?
