Answer Question
Trying to type spoken phrases.
I have previously stated that I am very happy with Fluenz, as opposed to Rosetta (which I also have in the full version) and that is still the case. One problem I am encountering is not so much the speed with which the phrases are spoken, but that in some cases the word is just not there. I have played and replayed the phrases (not all, but occasionally) when I get the "reject" signal. Finally, out of frustration, I finally press F1 for the answer and see something like the word "hay" that clearly was not spoken. I am not at the computer that has my program, but I am pretty sure that in Lesson 17 he says something like "donde un banco" and the "hay" is just not there. I understand that I will probably have to get used to people in Ecuador speaking rapidly, but for the purpose of learning vocabulary and grammar, I don't see this as helpful.
