Answer Question
lack of clarity in lesson 27, first level
Unfortunately by the infrequency of posts to this forum I most likely will find the answer to this question myself before I get a response here. But in lesson 27 of the first level Sonia introduces for the first time "il" as a word meaning "it". Previously it had only been used to mean "he". It struck me as pretty glaring that no mention was made of why we are now saying "il est" instead of "c'est" to mean "it is". If it's just in reference to time, ok, but why not explain that? Or is it not only in reference to time? Anyone?
