Answer Question
How Many Lessons to Become Fluent?
A little background before getting to my question; For the past 15 years my work has taken me to Mexico, Central and South America. During that time and Spanish from high school; (44 years ago) I learned to order food in restaurants, give some directions to taxi drivers and understand simple sentences from customers. At many customers there would be a person who spoke English well and translate more complex information. I discovered Fluenz and am in the middle of level 2 (I have levels 1 -3). The methodology seems to work well.
The goal for me is to be able to speak in Spanish with a customer so that both the customer and I understand precisely what each of us is saying. I know most of the words in Spanish for my business (textiles/garments) so the terminology is not foreign. I anticipate that more vocabulary will be in Levels 2 and 3 along with verb tenses, position of adverbs and adjectives, etc.
My question to the group: Will masteringFluenz Spanish LA up through level 5 result accurate understanding of what my customer says and accurate communication by me to my customer? If not any recommendations to achieve that fluency?
