Answer Question
English Genders
Does anyone know why English forwent using gender classification for nouns? Latin, French, and German all seem to have this, but English is curiously not among them even though those languages have integrated themselves in our everyday speech/grammar.
It seems like having no gender bound words is the easiest part of English for many Europeans to grasp. It is a shame the rest of our grammar rules are so hard.
