Answer Question
Liasons in Lesson 2
While taking lessons at the Alliance Française in San Francisco I learned the importance of liasons and quite a few that Fluenz doesn't catch. Could someone please tell me if the following are supposed to be said with liasons are not: Je suis allé, vous êtes allé, il est allé, etc....
I was under the assumption that....for example....vous êtes allé.....would be pronounced vooz-eh-talay (not sure how to phonetically spell that) but I think you catch my drift.
The speakers in the lesson do not use liasons for any of these and many other phrases. What do you think?!! My french teachers were constantly correcting me about liasons. Thanks for your help!!!
