Answer Question
Sentence Structure
I just finished German Level 2 and find the language very frustrating. The hard part for me is sentence structure, especially now that we are in past tenses. When you have to wait until the very last word to know what the speaker is talking about, it really throws me off. When someone says "ich habe", I immediately start thinking "I have" and then you wait until the end of a very long sentence to find out whether the person is talking, eating, thinking, writing, working, playing (etc.etc), as well as finding out they are talking in the past tense! I can do it in the writing sessions, but when actually listening, it just seems impossible. Is there anyone else out there that had this same problem?? What's the trick in developing listening skills? Thanks.
