There is a delightfully quirky podcast available on iTunes called "Deutsch - warum nicht". I'm almost done with the first series. There are a total of four. Every episode tells a bit more of a strange story about the people who work at and stay at a hotel. And there's an elf. The series is old -- pre-Euro currency -- but really well done. You get to listen to normal tempo speech several times. Each time, a few more words are explained. Then there's a segment on grammar. There are also odd musical interludes, including a few minutes at the end of different famous pieces of German classical music. Very enjoyable. Much more useful for me than the Fluenz audio files and podcasts.
Another great resource is the Duolingo iPhone app. I use it to practice any time I have to wait in line or in a doctor's office.
Between the Fluenz course (just started Level 2) and these two other resources, I spend 1-2 hours a day on German. It's wonderful. Of course, the Fluenz course itself is amazing.
