Answer Question
OSX Mountain Lion gets Black Screen, used to work
How do I fix this?
The program used to work, I used it a number of times, I havent upgraded anything. My guess is some cached file is corrupted or something.
I uninstalled 1-2 and 3, and re-installed, no change. Running from DVD, no change.
I deleted everything from ~/Library/Saved Application State/, and no change.
I get a black screen, briefly a white box appears where it would draw things, and then it all goes black. Quitting doesnt work, have to force quit.
I dtruss'd it to see what the process is doing, a whole lot of gettimeofday() sys calls constantly, occassionally making a directory in Saved Application State and trying to do something, but no effect on just sitting there.
I've looked up Flex (I think it was developed in this) problems with OSX and updated Flash, but couldnt find anything.
I cant seem to download any updates, because my account has to be approved as a legit purchased account or something...
I really need to finish studying as I have a trip soon and this is not making it any easier...
