Answer Question
Just starting out today
I just received my Spanish (Latin American) program today & completed lesson 1. I think it is going to be a great way to learn and am very excited about it. I took some Spanish in High School (many, many years ago) and remember a few things. I think one of the hard things for me is going to be the emphasis that is placed on certain words within a phrase. For instance when I say Estoy muy bien, I tend to put the emphasis on "bien" where the speakers in the lesson place it on "estoy." This happens with many phrases. Perhaps it is just my speech pattern or maybe being born & raised in Southern California and lived here for more than 60 years. I think with practice I can work through it.
