Answer Question
How to identify Direct Objects and selecting the appropriate personal pronoun
I am reviewing Level 1 after taking a long break. I find it confusing when to chose the appropriate personal pronoun before a Direct Object. I know that only the masculine & neutral pronouns change their endings. When I think I've identified the D.O. and I think its masculine, for example, I'll type the word "diesen" not dieses if the D.O. is hotel for instance. If I'm wrong, then I sit there wondering why...I thought the Direct Object answers the questions of "why". Is there a simple way of remembering how to identify Direct Objects? Appreciate anybody's help!!!
