Answer Question
Do I use Singular or Plural?
Spanish (Latin) 3: Flashcards translate "fruit salad" as "ensalada de frutas", but previous ones have shown that "orange juice" is "jugo de naranja". I don't know why fruta would have to be plural. The word fruta, itself, implies a variety of fruit(s) already...at least that's my thinking. Certainly, orange juice is made up of more than one orange, yet naranja is singular. It's an area that I could use some clarification on. Many thanks.
