Answer Question
Language learning and dimentia
Do any fluenz users no if the claim that learning a foreign language/s later in life can slow or prevent the onset of dementia type illnesses such as Alzheimer's is genuine. Has this claim been scientifically proven? Or is it something language teachers and schools use for promotional purposes? I'm interested as one of my grandmothers suffered with memory issues from about 70 years of age.
