Answer Question
Spanish 2 Session 16: Gustar
Hi,
In Spanish 2, session 16, we learn that to conjugate AR verbs we should remove the AR and add the following:
Yo + é
Tu + aste
El/Ella/Usted + o (with accent)
Nosotros + amos
Ellos/Ustedes + aron
But then in the first Match the Words activity, we are asked to translate this sentence: "I liked that dish a lot".
I translated it as "Me gusté mucho ese plato" but the answer according to Fluenz is "Me gusto mucho ese plato".
Why does this verb end in 'o'? Why are we using the El/Ella/Usted form?
Thanks :)
