Answer Question
audiobooks for comprehension
Despite all my efforts in Italian, I still find that comprehension is weak. So, recently I downloaded an audiobook in Italian, and had the option to listen to it through my Podcasts app on the iPhone. This helps, because it is easy to tap the 15-second rewind to listen again…and again….and again. This has been tedious but I think helpful. I get more each time I listen. I can also slow it down to half-speed, but the quality then is not great.
Although I have understood parts, there are still parts I can't seem to get, and was wondering if anyone here would like to work on this together?
I downloaded the book, Il Giornalino di Gian Burrrasca, through the site www.booksshouldbefree.com. You have the option to listen in the website, download as a zip, or download to iTunes podcast (that was my choice). As the website name suggests, it is free. The first chapter of this book is about 6 minutes long. I now understand a lot of it, but thought it might be fun to work through it with others.
Any takers?
