Answer Question
German/Speaker
I was born in Germany in 1951 to german parents. My mother died soon after birth. When my father remarried to a woman with 4 girls he put me up for adoption. I was adopted at age five to an american serviceman and his german wife. When my adopted father's service was up we came back to the United States. At the age of 10, I was told I had a brother who was put up for adoption at the same time I was and he was 3 years my senior. 53 years later he finds me on the internet which was in 2010. We have been keeping in contact with each other on the internet but in
2-1/2 months I'm going to visit him. He knows little English and I have lost most of my German. I need either a German speaking person or someone that can give me lessons on how to talk to a relative. Fluenz has helped immensely but as a tourist not a relative.
