Answer Question
To French, Spanish, German, and Italian laguage learners................................
I ordered (from Amazon) and received yesterday... a book called Easy French Reader...the author believes the best way to learn a language is to start reading it!...the book starts off a a beginner's level...has three main sections...section one about an American girl living in Paris...section two features an overview of French history...topics/people covered are Joan of Arc, Wiiliam the Conquerer,, Napolean, General de Gaulle, and many others...section three is short stories...everything is in French (written) and new vocabulary is introduced in English.
There are these Easy reader books in Spanish, German, and Italian...and they cost about USD$ eight dollars...I'm very pleased with the style and content...I'm on lesson 29 (French 1)...ready for review lesson...this book supplements Fluenz French greatly...there are mini-tests, true-false questions and mini crossword puzzles!
I also ordered some children's book...two of Dr. Seuss's...one of them is "Green Eggs and Ham."..written in French
Thought I'd share this info with my Fluenz friends...I'm also taking my time, devoting at least 45 minutes everyday on just reviewing vocabulary and on days of Fluenz lessons about 75 minutes...as Sonja says, "practice, practice, practice!"
Soyez bon, mes amis/amies!
