Answer Question
Pronunciation: Quelque chose VS Quelques choses
When I'm faced with a question that could be interpreted two ways due to the pronunciation being the same, once I get the question right one way, I usually go back and try the other to make sure I'm right.
In this session I was asked to type out what I heard, being,
Vous désirez boire quelque chose?
I went back to check the second way I thought the question could be answered...
Vous désirez boire quelqueS choseS?
...but was told it was incorrect.
I'm sure you could use "quelqueS choseS" when asking about purchasing "somethings", e.g. "Vous désirez acheter quelques choses?", so why would it not work in this session's question?
Merci beaucoup! :)
