Answer Question
Concern....
I have a concern with the German pronunciation of "ch" Some speakers in the session pronounce it differently for the same word. I am left wondering if it is a "sh" or "k" sound. For example: I have heard speakers pronounce "möchten" as "morkten" and "morshten". Which is right? Perhaps they are slurring their words or speaking too fast, but I am confused. The same with "die Milch". Is it pronounced "milch" or "milk?" I can't distinguish the difference sometimes, perhaps because the "sh" sound is very subtle and I've heard it both ways. Nevertheless, it is difficult to hear to my English speaking ears and I feel it's very important that I say this correctly.
