Answer Question
Meter en
In working through the phrases at the end of Session 29, Level 5 I encounter the phrase "Metí tus zapatos aquí, pero puedes meterlos allá." The translation which is given is "I put your shoes in here, but you can put them in there." Since we were taught in the session that to put in or to put inside of something was METER EN, I am wondering if the correct Spanish for this phrase should be "Metí tus zapatos en aquí, pero puedes meterlos en allá."? Without using the preposition EN with METER, as in the first example, would we not actually be saying "I put your shoes here, but you can put them there."?
