Answer Question
Pronounce the Spanish "R"
I'm on disc 1 session 26 of the Spain Spanish set and so far they have not explained in detail how to pronounce the Spanish "r", which I think is critical to learn early. Do they go over this in a later lesson?
Specifically I'm concerned with the prounciation of words where the "r" is next to a consonant (like "tarde", "persona", "tres"). This is a different sound than words where "r" is next to a vowel (like "para" or "quiero"). I've been unable to find a Youtube video that explains this; they only explain the rolling "r" and the "r" between two vowels, but not the one next to a consonant.
