Answer Question
Pronunciation question in Spanish (Sp.) 2
I'm in lesson 12 in Spanish (Eur.) 2. In listening to Duarte's (?) pronunciation of the "LL" sound in words like Llegar, Llevar, Llamar, etc., sometimes he (and the pronouncers in the lessons) pronounces it like the "J" sound in English (like JeGar) and sometimes "yaGar". My European Spanish friends say no one uses the "JeGar" pronunciation. Can you help? This is very distracting. (as is also the varying pronunciation of "v" as "b" and often the english "v" - very confusing)
Thanks!
