Answer Question
Agreement with the word "sure." Why plural?
In the flashcard writing exercises for Level 4, Session 6, we're given the phrase, "The idea is to call the theater and book before in order to be sure(p) to have seats." We're told that the word "sure" is plural, but I don't understand why.
With what is the word "sure" agreeing in order to make it plural? idea? seats? Neither seems correct to me.
