Answer Question
When to use autre chose vs. une autre chose
In the conversation in Session 19, there's the following question:
Est-ce que vous voulez autre chose?
Previously, we were taught to use the question: Est-ce que vous voulez UNE autre chose?
Both questions are translated the same: Do you want something else?
It appears that "autre chose" and "une autre chose" are both translated as "something else."
What's the difference between these two expressions and between the two above questions? How do you know when to include "une"?
Thanks!
P.S. Thank you so much to the Fluenz team for coming out with an iPhone version of your software and making it available to pre-existing customers. I bought Fluenz 3 years ago and I'm finally sticking with it due to being able to use Fluenz in small spurts on the go.
