Answer Question
Free German Resources!
Hey guys, I was interested what you were using for secondary language resources.
I've been using Duolingo for a while to improve my vocab.
I have found great YouTube channels for grammar and culture.
*Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com)
--Free language learning exercise with many different topics, on web browser or app for smartphone/iPod/tablet
Has discussion for every drill so you can see what other learners are saying about it. After you reach a certain fluency, you can translate web articles alongside other users, very fun and easy to use.
##YouTube:
*Learn German with Herr Antrim (https://www.youtube.com/user/MrLAntrim)
--He is a german teacher and supplies links to worksheets in the video description, in the video he goes through the entire worksheet with you while explaining the exercises. Also has ''German with Puppets'' videos, where he explains German grammar using puppets.
Introduces songs to remember German grammar rules e.g. Dative prepositions.
*Deutsch für Euch (DFE) (https://www.youtube.com/user/DeutschF...)
-- A native German girl who teaches all kinds of different grammar topics, german culture and vocab.
*Get Germanized (MeisterLehnsherr) (https://www.youtube.com/user/MeisterL...)
--He is a German native who has been recently voted the best language learning channel on Youtube. He covers many topics including grammar, vocal, culture, he uploads some videos completely in German, these include readings of German stories, such as Cinderella (Aschenputtel) and sometimes just rants in German. He also teaches slang so you can sound like a true german! ;p
*SmarterGerman (https://www.youtube.com/user/smarterg...)
-- A German native, German tutor who uploads some of his German course lessons for free (Full A1 course and freebies from his other courses).
Also creates songs to remember different aspects of German grammar rules.
Please let me know about any resources you use!
