Answer Question
word endings following "in"
Just finished session 5 of level 2 and noticed one of the workouts contained a sentence that confused me. The "repeat the phrase" section at the end had the following phrase... " Frau Meyer ist in ihrem Buro. Gehen Sie auch in ihr Buro?" My question is, why doesn't "ihr" in the 2nd sentence have an EM ending like the one in the 1st sentence. It follows the preposition "in" so shouldn't it also be ihrem? Clarification from anyone would be much appreciated! Danke!
