Answer Question
Section 1-5 TranslationIssues
There are two questions at the beginning as follows:
Good evening sir, do you want to eat anything?
Buenas noches señor, ¿usted quiere comer algo?
Good evening miss, do (you) want to drink anything?
Buenas noches señorita, ¿quiere tomar algo?
Why are they different? The second one is incorrect if I use "usted" in the answer. I think "Usted" is optional as from what I learned since starting. I think both answers are correct (usted is optional).
