Answer Question
Questions about "alla" and order of descriptors
I am in Spanish Unit 1, Session 28. In Duare's explanation, he uses the word "alla" instead of "alli", without explanation. What's up with that?
Second, in Match the Phrases, the English phrase is "(It) is a small coffee store from Barcelona." The Spanish match is "Es una tienda de cafe pequena de Barcelona." Will the type of store (de cafe) always precede the "pequena", or is saying, "Es una tienda pequena de cafe" entirely wrong? The structure seems sort of illogical because the store is small, not the coffee, affirmed by the adjective's feminine version. So for future uses, the type of store, what it sells, eg., tienda de moviles, tienda de cafe, etc., will appear as a unit and then any adjectives that describe the store further, eg., pequena, grande, will come after? What if you want to say, "It's an expensive coffee store." Es una tienda de cafe cara? Or caro? Is the store expensive, or the coffee sold there?
