Answer Question
Excellent Methodology
Ciao,
I want to thank you for the opportunity to try your product. I found it to be very helpful and I enjoyed the various tools, they helped me to retain information. "La donna" was very helpful with construction and pronunciation and I really liked the way she deconstructed the conversations. I think one of the highlights is the way your course is oriented to real life situations. It sets it apart from many other similar products. It provides a nice 'foundation" from which to grow.
Of the three tools I have tried, I would have to say that yours is by far the best tool I tried. I would purchase it but we are only going to Italy for 6 days and $177 is too expensive given the time we have available (about three weeks now). Your pricing strategy front-end loads the cost to the consumer. I see that it's an additional $71 for 1+2 and an extra $50 for 1+2+3 and an incremental $35 for each of 4+5. I want a crash course for a month so that I can have some fun on my vacation. If I look at all my vacation costs, I would say this would fit my budget at $40-$50, not $177. I probably do not represent your typical target market of course.
I realize that you will not change your model but for me it would have been a sure thing if I could pay for one month at a cheaper price instead of $177 which is a deal breaker. Love your product but can't handle the level 1 price. Keep up the good work, I never had so much fun learning a language before (Did Latin and French at high school - very boring, turned to Physics and math). Now, when I no longer have to conjugate for days and days I really enjoyed the learning experience. It would be fun taking French again this way as well as German and Spanish. Very practical.
My wife and I have been bouncing Italian off each other since I tried out your product. Just spoke Italian for a few days. Molto bene, grazie e
arrivederci,
John Pugh
