Microphone now working - Mac - installed program - downloaded session
I have the Fluenz for Spanish. I am using the installed program on my Mac, session 1 is downloaded and I have completed much of it. When I got to the part where I can use my microphone, the program is locking up a few moments after hitting record, then after several seconds a window pops up that says Fluenz is requesting to use the microphone, which I allow it to but the program just stays locked up. Closed it and re opened and it does the same thing. Rebooted and it does the same thing. In settings, security and privacy, for the microphone, it does show that Fluenz has permission to use my microphone, but it locks up and asks every time I try again on the program when I hit record. I am on a MacBook Pro with the macOS Mojave operating system. I have all updates installed for both my Mac and for Fluenz. After it locks up, all I can do is force close the program. PS, I am on the "Basic Conversations" section of session 1 when I try to use the microphone. I also tried in the "Advanced conversation" and it does the same thing as soon as the mic comes into play.
