Answer Question
Need guide on when to use (or not) "a" after the verb "ir".
Early on, the lessons talked about the need for the word "a" to follow an "ir" verb (Voy a/va a/vas a/ vamos a/etc). It is understandable when you are going "to" someplace. However, even if the phrase does not involve going "to" someplace, the "a" after the verb is often used. However, I'm noticing many examples in level 2 where the "a" is not used following "ir" verbs such as vamos etc. (vamos alla). Is there a good reference for me to stop my head from exploding?
